Swimming pool extension in Nottinghamshire Cottage

The wonderful extension was constructed at Becks Cottage, situated in Newark Nottinghamshire, to house a swimming pool.

English oak was used for the main king post trusses, the roof, staircase and the balcony that overlooked the swimming pool.

French oak was used for the doors and windows as well as the door frames, lintels and architrave. The front entrance featured a half-round roof which is visible when you walk in. All of the king post trusses, roof structure, linels and balcony were made and erected into position site.
